  • James daniel upshaw - President

Better known as JLive “The Promoter”. James has been a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan since 1972, drawn by the star players and, yes, The Cheerleaders. Serving as the Knox Cowboys’ president for the past 3 years, he boosted membership, launched high-energy watch parties with food and a DJ, added raffles to raise funds, organized out-of-town trips, and built a governing body for the club’s future.

Beyond football, James is Knoxville’s premier urban promoter, providing major concerts, festivals, comedy shows, and grown-folk events since 1983. He’s also spent 11 years with the United States Postal Service, now in management. He’s a proud alum of Austin East High School’s legendary Class of 1987. Above all, he’s a husband, father, and grandfather who brings friendly enthusiasm to every arena he steps into.

  • HAROLD LYNN WIMBLEY - VICE PRESIDENT

I am originally from Knoxville, TN. I graduated from Austin East High School Class of 1987. I am self-employed and started a lawn care and landscaping business known as "Harold J's Lawn Care and Landscaping". My business started part-time and became a successful full-time operation. I'm blessed to say that I have been a long-time Dallas Cowboys fan since 1974. I fell in love with the Cowboys over all the other NFL teams because of the great star players on the team who represented the Star on the helmets.

The most memorable moment was watching the Vikings vs the Cowboys game when Tony Dorsett ran the amazing 99-yard touchdown run with only 10 men on the field against the 11-man Viking defense. That was exciting to watch. My favorite coach is Jimmy Johnson, who built a dynasty for the Cowboys to win the '92 and '93 back-to-back Super Bowls. I am proud to be a part of the Dallas Cowboys Nation. It keeps getting amazing with true loyalty and love and happiness that it brings to so many fans all across the world.

I am a local DJ known as "DJ Tony Too Tuff". I provided music for many clubs and events in the surrounding area in East Tennessee for 40 years.

I became a Dallas Cowboys fan in 1967, watching the famous "ICE BOWL", Cowboys vs Packers championship game at the age of 11 years old. My favorite coach is "THE MAN IN THE HAT", Tom Landry. My favorite player is "Captain Comeback" and "Captain America", Roger Staubach. He led the Cowboys to the Super Bowl 5 times, and the famous Cowboys became known as "America's Team" and still are to this day. I will always be a DC4L.
